Glass teapot with strainer-lid, 700 ml

Glass teapot with strainer-lid, 700 ml
The modern, elegant glass teapot is particularly easy to use thanks to a lid with a built-in filter. As with Kyusu pots, the tea leaves have plenty of room to develop freely and release their extract into the water - and you can watch them do so wonderfully!
The glass pot is ideally suited for both hot infusions and mizudashi preparation with cold water. Just remember that for hot infusion, the water should be poured out completely after each infusion to prevent the leaves from continuing to steep and making later infusions bitter.
For cold brew tea, the infusion time is less relevant, as the bitter substances dissolve less in cold water, while the sweet theanine develops particularly well at low temperatures. The infusion time is highly dependent on the tea; for Fukamushi green tea, just a few minutes are enough for an invigorating, bright green iced tea!
Try also "Infused Water" with e.g. cucumber, lemongrass, ginger or mint in the pot - a pleasure in summer!
A video of the pot in action can be found here.

Let your green tea shine with this borosilicate glass-teapot! Watching the water turning bright green is a special pleasure with glass teapots, however it can of course also be used for other types of tea. The large stainless steel strainer allows for the leaves to unfold and release their full aroma wonderfully. The teapot is made by Hario in Japan and is dishwasher-proof. Filling capacity The filling capacities of the teaware are always measured up to the edge - the actual quantity in daily use is slightly smaller. This teapot is for 1-6 persons.

Kimura Sencha Organic Japanese Green Tea
This fine Sencha from the April picking convinces with incomparably elegant aromas and a well-balanced, velvety-soft taste.
The Kimura Method
This organic cultivation method is named after Akinori Kimura, who originally used it to grow apples. The method aims to increase the quality of the fruit by deliberately avoiding any fertilization, thus stimulating root activity. For the first time, this natural cultivation method was also applied to tea plants at KEIKO Biofarm. Zairai tea plants, which are grown from seed, were used for this purpose. The harvest quantities are very small - an absolute rarity!
Preparation
For the hot infusion of Kimura Sencha, we recommend an infusion temperature of 65°C and a brewing time of about 70 seconds for the first infusion. For the second infusion, a shorter infusion time of about 30 seconds is sufficient. The last infusion can then be left to infuse a little longer (70 sec.) to bring out the full aroma. In the cold infusion, the tea unfolds previously unknown, delicate aromas and a slight sweetness. Since the tea is only medium steamed (Chumushi), it should steep a little longer than the Fukamushi teas (7-10 minutes).
Storage
In order to preserve the valuable flavors and ingredients of the tea in the best possible way, we recommend that you close the bag tightly and store it in a cool, dark place in the refrigerator or freezer.
