As we all know Green Tea should not be infused boiling hot. And while there are modern water kettles which can be set to heat the water only to the desired temperature we do recommend to actually boil the water once to make it softer and reduce lime residue. In Japan Yuzamashi cooling vessels are then used to let the water cool. This Yuzamashi is made of thick clay to protect your fingers from the heat and with practical indentations for an easy grip.Origin
